It was drawn while I was enormously pressed for time. Especially the hair got missed out hence there are few areas I wish I had better fixed. I'm not that content as I use to and I feel kind of guilty for not being able to draw it perfectly.
Counting the left hours wasn't fun at all. Anyway, it's a birthday present and I met the deadline! friends told me it looks like a photograph  as long as people I love like my work, I'm satisfied! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. For being pressed for time, this is wonderful!
I agree with your friends, it looks very much like a photograph. You captured the detail wonderfully, including the expression that the elephant has. Ever wrinkle is shone very nicely.
Of course I'm not sure about animals very much so I don't feel right about criticizing or commenting really. But from what I see....this is beautiful.
